About Us.

Since we started Flood Clothing Co. back in 2017 we've always had a strong focus on sustainability and our impact to both our own surroundings and the wider world we source our products and materials from.

In custom printing all products we ensure little or no harm is caused to the people and places involved. We hold ourselves to this with every decision we make.

Our name is an ode to the power in nature as well as being a nod to the Screen Printing process; in order to print a shirt, you must first 'flood' the screen with ink.

Organic Fabrics.

We always suggested the use of Organic fabrics when your budget suits. It takes 71% less water, 62% less energy, and 100% less pesticides to grow organically when compared to traditional farming.

Where Organic isn't suitable for a project or budget, we ensure that the suppliers we choose have a strong focus on improving their impact to the environment and people who work for them. We try to support businesses that are doing the right thing and on a path to achieving sustainability.

Hand Printed.

We hand print every screen-printed order at our print studio in Manchester. We only ever use water-based, non solvent, Soil Association approved inks. By printing everything ourselves, by hand, we significantly reduce waste together with our carbon footprint.

People.

Mike Palowski - Founder / Designer / Printer

With a basic knowledge of screen printing and a whole load of ideas, Mike started the company following a period of travelling that truly opened his eyes to the beauty of the world around us.

Mike built a rudimentary print studio in his parents' garage and set to work perfecting his design and print skills before launching Flood Clothing Co. back in 2017.

Always with the next adventure in his sights, Mike runs Flood Clothing Co. full time and even still gets his hands on a squeegee helping to print work for our clients who are looking for an ethical alternative to the usual standard in the apparel industry.
