None of this information identifies you personally; we collect it for aggregate reporting on site activity through Google Analytics. We also collect non-personally identifiable information through the use of cookies - See Cookie Policy below.

Third Party Data Processors.

We’re only a small team here at Flood HQ, so occasionally we have to ask for some help to make sure we are operating as efficiently and responsibly as we can. Because of this, we work with a couple of third-party data processors (Shopify, Paypal, MailChimp) to help manage our website, our orders & payments and our marketing database.

Under the terms of their individual Privacy Policies, our Third-Party data processors will not, under any circumstances, contact people on our lists, market to people on our lists, sell our lists, or share our lists with any other party, except as required by law or, regarding contacting, except in response to a complaint or other communication directly from an individual on one of our lists.

The majority of these processes are necessary to complete your order with us and by using our site you agree to these processes. If you would like more information on how your individual personal data is being processed or stored, please contact us directly and we’ll be happy to discuss this with you.

International Data Transfers.

When we collect data, it may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country you live in – such as to the United States, where our email marketing provider’s servers are located. These countries may have laws different to what you’re used to. Rest assured, where we disclose personal data to a third party in another country, we put safeguards in place to ensure your personal data remains protected.

For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), this means that your data may be transferred outside of the EEA. Where your personal data is transferred outside the EEA, it will only be transferred to countries that have been identified as providing adequate protection for EEA data (like New Zealand), or to a third party where we have approved transfer mechanisms in place to protect your personal data – i.e., by entering into the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or by ensuring the entity is Privacy Shield certified (for transfers to US-based third parties).

Changes to this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
